WHY CEEPO BIKES?
It’s not just about the brand CEEPO, it’s about founder, Joe Tanaka. Joe is CEEPO. He’s a hard working, honest man who believes in building CEEPO one customer at a time. He personally shakes each CEEPO rider's hand in Kona, and at every other race he attends. He and his wife make sure everyone who rides a CEEPO is treated like family. And it's a family we're proud to be a part of.
Joe, a triathlete himself, set out to design a bike specifically with the triathlete in mind. Of the more notable features in the geometry is a steeper seat tube angle and shorter top tube. This design moves the pivot point of the hip closer to the center point of the crank (rather than behind it). The result is a wider hip angle position while you ride. A wider hip angle allows you to still generate power and maintain speed on the bike, but also keeps your running-specific muscles fresher for more vigor out of T2. Learn more about CEEPO.
Steven Harad has been around bikes since the proverbial first job as a teenager sweeping floors at the neighborhood shop in Havertown, PA. Over the next three decades he'd go on to fill a bike career through owning a bike shop (Steve's Bike & Fitness), launching a trail-blazing online triathlon business (Steve's Multisport), founding a tri-specific bike brand (Elite), reviving another iconic brand (Kestrel), all while being a mentor to many pro athletes and next-gen industry folks.
As Drivetrain Sports’ resident bike expert, Steven brings an extensive wealth of knowledge as both a fit guru and product manager, and will personally pair you with the perfect ride. You got questions? "Ask Steve.” Email Steve.
Chris Mesigian has been uniting brands and athletes for over 15 years. A team sports guy growing up, Chris discovered a knack for endurance sports as a member of the rowing club at Clemson University. That experience paved the way for what would become a life-long love of his 3 R’s: rowin', runnin’, & ridin’.
Not one to leave the sports at the boathouse, path, or road, Chris has held several marketing positions in the endurance sports world, most notably with NK (rowing product manufacturer), Admark Network (sports event management company), ASI (parent company to Fuji & Kestrel bikes), and eventually owning his own consultancy business. In his words: "I connect well with my clients, because I'm one of them." Email Chris.
